The other day I read an article about Tata Motors - the giant Indian company. They are about to launch their $3,000 car called the Nano. Eventhough the car is quite fuel efficient (47 miles to the gallon), the credit-rating firm Crisil reckons that the vehicle could single-handedly boost total Indian car sales by 20% in 2009. This could be around 250,000 cars in the first year!
When you take into account events like this in India, how is it possible to imagine oil prices will ever come down? They won't. What does this mean for the trucker? I really don't even want to think about it.
